All right, I’m bored.  Let’s play the Guess the Song Shuffle Meme!

 

Here’s how I do it: You get thirty songs, because it’s fun!  It’s the first line (or two) from the song.  I screen comments so that you don’t have to feel bad if someone else guessed something you knew.  If you get it right I’ll put your name next to the lyric. Songs with an asterisk give you bonus points because I don’t expect many people to get them.  So, let it begin!

 

 

 

And now … Music Quiz, Round Two, since I had so much fun the first time. I omitted all instrumental songs (name that tune: da dat dat da doot DOOT, doo!) and one or two that had already come up on the last quiz, and was left with these:

All right, all right, like anyone else, I’m curious to see if anyone shares my musical tastes, and anyway I still have no interesting news, so I’m gonna do the Infamous Shuffle Meme: “Set your playlist on randomize, list a lyric from the first 25 songsthat come up (without cheating) and invite people to guess the song. GOOGLING IS CHEATING. Public recognition and its attendant glory for the first to correctly name the song and artist.” Blame  kjpepperif you need to, since she’s the one who made me think of it today, anyway.

 

So here’s the first thirty (non-instrumental) songs that came up when I shuffled my enormous list of favorite songs. I’ll screen the comments for a couple of days so that latecomers still can attain glory and prestige. Extra bonus points to those who guess the starred ones. And yes, I did thirty, because I like you so much you get an extra 20% ABSOLUTELY FREE!
