Another Thing About Legos

I feel like I trashed The Lego Movie too much in my last entry when I actually quite liked it, so I want to balance that by pointing something out: I really liked the direction they took the Chosen One storyline. Yes, it did pass up the badass female, but the final message, in which Ghost Morgan Freeman (and how great was that glowy ghost on a string?) says that he made the prophecy up because he figured ANYBODY could fulfill it was really great. Turning the Only You Can Save (Lego)Mankind trope inside-out like that is definitely worth some cookies.

I love that movie more than is reasonable. The line that had me on the floor howling was Shaq and the NBA being all "GET READY FOR THIS? Oh no, they were ready for that..."
DARKNESS! DEAD PARENTS!

Also, I honestly think a double-decker couch is a GREAT idea.
