妹: Well, I can no longer make fun of you and your weird crush on Beast.

 

Amelia: You’re in love with Davy Jones.

 

妹: No.

 

Amelia: Right, then, who?

 

妹: Commodore Norrington. He’s so … sexy when he's being a bastard!

 

Pause

 

Amelia: Karma has struck! HAHAHAHAHAHA!

Well, Norrington was an exceedingly sexy bastard. ♥ I am so terribly in love with the way they complicated his character. It's almost enough to make me want to write in the pirates fandom, just to explain away how he went from Prig to Bastard.

He was kinda cool in this now that he got some character ~ I was glad they didn't just chuck him after his role in the first movie. And they did make it a believable progression to his current state. You know, for a really stupid franchise, they have some really good characterizations.

However, I'll stick with my blue crush for now. ;)

This has nothing to do with odd-ball crushes (although as those things go I am quite fond of Geoffery Rush/Capt. Barbossa's voice), but while I was watching the movie and the discussion of the pronunciation of 'Kraken' came up, my first thought was of you.

And was it just me or did the Calinago seem to look a lot like people from Borneo?
