bloodyrosemccoyMom picked up the fourth season of Fringe for me! The problem with waiting till a season comes out on DVD before starting it is that you can't help but stumble across other people's opinions, and so I'm always a little anxious when I start to watch for myself. Fortunately, I've been pleasantly surprised so far.
On the other hand, it may just be that I've missed these characters. People ask me why the hell I like this show when I thought the X-Files was boring and stupid. The answer is characters. These characters are great.
The other answer is that they actually manage to fix or stop at least SOME of the monsters. Did they ever do that on the X-Files? NO. When JJ Abrams manages to get more closure per episode than your own show, you know you've got problems.
