One of the more stupid things I've done in my life was to bring home a few porcupine needles (swept from the floor of a porcupine cage when I was volunteering at the local zoo) to show Albert, carelessly leave them on a bedside windowsill that is exactly at bed level... and wake up with a porcupine needle embedded in my thigh because apparently my sleep-thrashings swept it into a blanket in perfect leg-jabbing position. =_=;;; Luckily, it only got stuck in my skin and not much deeper.
Could be worse, too. I was once attacked by a roach (it landed on my face! What the hell!), which then fled under the bed. I slept on the couch for about a week.
