The comet song, to the tune of Bridge Over The River Quai.

But, for me, I've found that I can eradicate any earworm by singing TMBG's Birdhouse In Your Soul a couple times, which then graciously leaves my head so I may think again. It is a magical song that really irritates other people, it seems.

I think you mean the Colonel Bogey March (also known, with later lyrics added, as "Hitler Has Only Got One Ball"). "Bridge Over the River Kwai" was a movie in which some of the characters whistle the tune at one point.
