Visit Your Relatives Day
Birthday - Mother's Whistler
I’d forgotten how reptilian I am. The heat makes me sleepy and dull-witted and my hands hurt and, as you may have noticed, I whine a lot. Which shames me. While I have no problem with small talk, I do get rather sick of the endless weather conversations, as follows:
Person 1: It’s hot!
Person 2: Yeah! Really hot!
Person 1: It shouldn’t be this hot! It’s only May!
Person 2: I want ice cream!
Global warming: Embrace me, bitch!
Thus, I’m afraid that I haven't been able to be particularly clever and fascinating over the past few days. I’m merely going to lie here and imagine being on the shady side of an iceberg. With a fan. And a—actually, that’s too cold.
Just the iceberg, then.
今日は暑すぎるよ、buggrit.

*ahem* river, as it were. I'm sure we can find a spot there to cool off. Still need to get that giant inflatable whale, though.
