Good News Is Hard To Find

I am really hoping the Egyptian military sticks to its word. It's been such a trip to read about the idea of a military refusing to harm peaceful protestors--it's reassuring to think that people are able to listen to their better natures, even when the worse aspects of human psychology are playing against them. I am now watching this with some excitement, hoping it continues to be an inspiring story.

Also, I think I need to look harder at Tunisia. To my great shame, I didn't hear much about that whole business until the Egyptian Revolution. Sometimes keeping up with the World Of Events slips by me. But good news is something worth paying attention to, so I'd better see where it began.
