Sittin’ around tonight reading and thinking “Dang, my head is cold. Why is my head so cold?”

Then I walked past the mirror and remembered I’d gotten a haircut earlier today.

I do this every haircut.

My tortoiseshell coloring is gone again, except for one part—Ed the Hairbender left one blondish forelock. I’m not sure if he did it on purpose, but I gotta tell you guys, it makes me even more adorable.

Cold, but adorable.

Yes. Then it got cold AND ALSO SUNBURNED.

That is why this time it is Real Short, but not completely shaved.

Now that I'm shaving my head regularly, I'm used to it, but for the first week or so after I took off my mid-back length hair, I thought I was feverish most of the time, because my head would still be cold while the rest of me was too hot, and fevers are the only other time I've run into that feeling of being too hot and too cold at the same time.

I've gotta say, I love the feel of a sub-freezing wind over my freshly shaven head. Nothing quite like it, just invigorating.
