Oh, SHIT, y’all, one of these agents I queried wants to see more pages of Doctors!
I was getting used to flat-out rejections! What the hell happens if she likes all those pages? Then what do I do?
I realize it’s a bit soon to celebrate, but hey, I at least made it to Level Two with somebody! This is a first!

All that said, awesomesauce!
Even if the agent doesn't pan out, look at submitting to a slush pile. There's still houses out there taking unrequested manuscripts: Sharyn November was talking about that at Orycon this year. Find a publisher who's printing books like yours and submit it. The worst that can happen is they say no, and you move on to the next house.
Good luck!

Date: 2010-11-22 11:34 pm (UTC)I am hoping to find an agent because I may be somewhat helpless without one--I am sure I could figure it out, but I'd rather have someone to help me there. Wish me luck!
