I got my wish. It's A Christmas Miracle.

It's the fluffiest snow I've ever shoveled, too. Like shoveling air-popped popcorn.

Now it can be the holidays.

That depends. It almost killed the Bakery I work at, since nobody's family were willing to fly out here, so most of the Christmas Parties that were planned canceled their orders. For myself and my co-workers, I'm praying it holds off until Christmas Eve at the earliest.

The big problem is that we don't have the infrastructure to deal with it around here. If it starts to become a regular thing, and they get the Plows and other equipment, and people start to learn how to drive in it and stuff, it wouldn't be a problem, and I'd be right with you in wishing for it.

Unfortunately, this just ain't the place for it :(

Everyone here was really excited Sunday because the weather report said it would SNOW OMG THAT NEVER HAPPENS HERE. Then we were all disappointed because it happened at 2 AM and there were a few puddles left by the morning. :C

*looks out at a decidedly unsnowy part of Sweden*

Bah, humbug.

Right, weather gods, let's do like this: I'm going down south to Skåne on thursday, and when I get back I expect the place to be spotlessly white, ok?

There be snow up in the north already, just not here around Stockholm. :P We usually get our Big Annual Snow Chaos in late December or January.

I like fluffy snow. There was one day of very fluffy snow in September. I was late to class because I was jumping up and down to make the flakes POOF around my feet.

Now we have real snow. You want it? It's very cold. Not so fluffy.
