My cat Charlie is a loafer. She spends most of the time lounging around on the end of my bed, getting allergens all over my quilt. I periodically stroll by and rassle her to make her squeak.
She’s also developed a bizarre habit—whenever she sees my hand near hers, she reaches out a paw and pats it once, looks at me like “Word,” and rolls over and goes back to sleep.
Yes. Charlie has learned the fist bump.
How can I possibly shoo those allergens off the bed when they’re attached to something that damn cute?
