Fabulous day out today—clear and warm and windy. I can look out the window and see all the way to World’s End.* Normally days like this make me want to run around and flap my arms or something, but since I’m still waiting out the little nanobastards trying to take over my face my usual OMGSPRING energy has been reduced to half an attempt to get the dolls changed and rearranged into springishness. Once I summon a little more energy I’ve got to make the 14"-ers more clothes and try to salvage Laurel’s wig. This may involve a harrowing process called a Downy Dunk, and I can’t guarantee either of us will come out alive, but I’ve got an emergency backup wig just in case. She probably won’t burst into flames, but with me you never know.
Meanwhile, my sleep has been focused more on quantity than quality lately, which is very irritating. But it does afford me ample opportunity to join the cat for a nap in a sunbeam. The rest of the dolls can wait.
*You think I’m being hyperbolic. In point of fact, I can see all the way out to the Great Salt Lake and beyond toward the Salt Flats. And that was, in fact, the location at which they filmed the World’s End scenes in PotC.
