When the coughing starts, if it is what I had, it is due to mucus draining. Don't go for the combo cold meds. Go for guifenacine (sp?) and something for the mucus.

Bleh. >_< If I had pyrokinesis I'd use it for very localized distance virus burning, but as it is I'll have to settle for cursing it and hoping that at least the sleeping is giving your body the rest it needs to fight it off.
