9. Do you have a nativity scene?

 

Mom got a cute one at one point, but I never did understand how it fit in other than as a decoration for one of the old traditions, sorta like the tree.  And the baby Jesus was adorable, so I stole him and pretended he was some fairy baby or something a lot.

 

I don’t think we’ve actually dug it out in years.

EDIT: I forgot!  I've been tagged by childthursday  to do the Things That Make Me Happy meme.  I'll post every day for a week.  So, here goes, what makes me happy: A good cup of tea.

Unrelated to this, you should go to amazon.fr and search for CJ Cherryh. (Well, Carolyn Janice Cherryh.) And then wonder why the Chanur books have buff women in fur bikinis or He-man fighting a demon on them.

Yes, that is part of the Chanur saga I sort of don't recall.

My brother wants to write a parody fantasy and have a total babe in a chainmail bikini on the cover, then a disclaimer inside saying that the babe actually is not anywhere in the book, sorry. So we are at least familiar with the principle.
