There's a protest listed practically around the corner from me at the DC Mormon Temple, but there's no organizer, so there's nobody to contact. ::frets:: I don't want to go if nobody else will show up, but I'd really like to go.

It does seem like a likely location for a protest, though.

I've never been to a protest in my life but I'll be there tomorrow in Chicago, cuz this is bullshit!

I made signs that say "The sky didn't fall in MA or CT", "Why can't my friends get married?" and "My marriage isn't threatened!" (have to find someone married to give that last one to...)

As someone who was repressed and who internalized homophobia for about 8 consecutive years before finally coming out to myself, I can confirm that as unbelievable as it sounds, yes, they actually do. They do it because they don't realize that there are much more entertaining perversions to indulge in that they're missing out on.

Also, the news from space was worthy of mention. When I look at how small things can get here, it's always a comfort to think of how huge it can be, out there. :)
