Last week I submitted a story about The Hive to my writers’ group. I’m surprisingly not nervous about it—okay, I’m a little nervous, but not as much as I expected to be. Thing is, I like the idea of someone pointing out some of the things I might be missing.

 

Still, I’m glad  chibicharibdysshowed me this group. I miss her, but I’ve made a ton more friends, and I’m learning a lot about marketing, publishing, and feedback.

 

And all without the petty snobbery of my old high school group.

 

Yeah, this is working out just fine.

I couldn't help but notice on your list that yesterday was not only income tax return due day but also take a wild guess day. Coincidence? I think not.

I'm glad you found such an engaging group. I have actually felt my own writing muse returning, I might have to see if there is a short story rattling around inside somewhere.
