I just managed to work the word blarg into a serious paper on neurolinguistics.

This reminds me of something. *cue flashback blur*

In high school, my friends held a bet to include the term "citrus fruit" in a certain history-geography exam. This led to sentences such as: "Napoleon then invaded Spain, which was already well-known for exporting citrus fruit."

*giggles* For us, it was a contest to see which actor could successfully say "SPOO" or "FLEEM" onstage during a play (those being fake acronyms from a Dilbert comic strip we fell in love with).
