Okay. Entire Stephen Jay Gould book read?  Check. Long pompous essay written?  Check.  Getting dragged out to dinner by chibicharibdys when I should be working on Powerpoint?  Check. Powerpoint presentation of yet another boring article about how Broca’s area may or may not have to do with syntax?  Check. Speech on what a bitch Stephen Jay Gould could be given to class?  Check. Potentially naughty pictures disabled from desktop cycle pending presentation?  Check.

 

Last items on to-do list:

Give Powerpoint presentation – 5 minutes from now, no less

Sleep

Find out if CSI Night is happening*

Sleep some more

Go to last class of term

Write blog entry

Give some thought to writing the two research papers due next Wednesday

Fuck it. Go back to sleep

 

 

*Lychee does not like distractions during the finals period.  And it is her Fortress.

I'm glad CSI night still went on. It's not just MY fortress. It was Liz's, too.

I had both an eight page essay and an oral performance due yesterday in my two worst classes. One of which is taught my my most disliked of professors.

I never actually considered that I moved into the Fortress of Terror. I thought it dissolved, actually, when I moved in.
