Nice Bit Of Variety
May. 7th, 2009 02:37 pmDear slightly cross-eyed three-month-old baby,
Thanks for coming into Dad’s office and letting me play with you while your mom went in for an exam.
You babies fascinate me. You’re developing so fast I can almost see it—you work those little brains hard to try to figure out how the world works and to build enough of a central nervous system to be able to interact with it with some measure of control, and it’s fun to watch.
Also, you make the cutest little pig noises.
It made working at the office into a good job for at least one morning. I tip my hat to you, little guy.
