HEY GUYS, GUESS WHO FAILED HER DRUG TEST TODAY.

Apparently, the current brand of Fukitol I’m on makes you test positive for PCP on urine tests!

 

You know what? If I am going to fail a drug test, I’d want to fail it because I was taking drugs. As it is, I am taking nothing but boring prescription pills,* and dammit one of their side effects I am getting the dire consequences of being a Suspected Drug User without having any of the fun.**

 

And the consequences? Well, my possible employers are unfazed and will send it into the lab for further testing, and that will be that. I would be a lot less annoyed about this if the guy hadn’t then ushered me back into the room where the other new employees sat and set my cup of urine in the middle of the table while he filled out paperwork. Darlin’, I am the TMI Queen and even I think that’s a little uncouth. I said as much, but this was one of those dudes who does not hear other people, so my annoyance went unnoticed.

 

I gave up. It wasn’t enough to make an issue of, but if he does that often somebody with a lower embarrassment threshhold and a higher lawsuit tolerance is going to nail his ass to the wall.

But yeah, most of this week has been fail and blargh.  Some things are not, however, such as gondolinchick01 ’s splendid dinner, Super Secret Doll Project FTW, and the following motherfucken hat:

*Okay, actually, Fukitol is anything but boring, what with the brain zaps and the insane dreams and the tendency to fall down if I miss a dose. But you know what I mean.

 

**Not that PCP sounds like an endless fun fest. Definitely not the one I’d pick.

By the way: it has come to my attention that those of you without LJ accounts to log into will now be seeing ads on my page. Alas, there is naught I can do about it, but I thought I’d give y’all a heads-up. And I actually understand—I really wanted to keep this thing ad-free, but this seems like a fair enough compromise. I just hope the ads aren’t for something I can’t stand.
