Amelia: (playing Star Fox Adventures, because she’s the only person in the world who liked that game, her defense being that while it’s cheezy Rareware and thus includes terrible sound effects and voice acting, it does feature anthropomorphic foxes, magical staffs, dinosaurs, space, and as is required by international law for all Star Fox games, a giant floating monkey head) You know what would make this game better?

 

Liz: (instantly) Pirates.

 

(Brief pause)

 

Liz: What were you going to say?

 

Amelia: Uh … that was exactly  what I was going to say.

 

Liz: Really?

 

Amelia: Yeah …

 

 

Also, after you use the giant killer earthquake of DEATH move and vaporize everything within a half-mile radius, I suppose it is redundant to say to the screen, “Ha! You are now dead!”
