Stayed up last night to watch the moon go out.* Went to bed before it came back.  Is it back? Or did the squid-gods win?

 

Today Mom’n’Dad decided on a preemptive strike at Cheyenne to see if they can screech in and say farewell before Grandma sinks for good.  I will not see them again until Christmas. They were less than thrilled with the whole situation.

 

It is looking more and more likely that I won’t make it to the water park at all this summer (I was considering a last-ditch effort for tomorrow).  I’ll have to just live with snorkeling in the Indian Ocean, I guess.  I hope it has slides.

 

Ni lazima nijifunze Kiswahili kwa haraka.  Gives me something to do.

 

 

*This is a lie of sorts.  I actually am always up at that time.
