I am sitting here wrapped in my space blanket, writing, drinking cider, and watching a Serbian movie called Killer Mermaid. Livin' the good life.

Is it the sort of space blanket that is Mylar and useful for reflecting body heat but not snuggly at all, or the sort of space blanket that is cloth and has pictures of space on it?

(I also have a deep interest in mermaids, even killer ones: the Urban Fantasy idea I'm bouncing around at the moment involves lots of ocean stuff. Because Urban Fantasy needs more mermaids*.)

* I know Seanan McGuire had underwater fairies in her October Daye books though the main character has Reasons for wanting to stay on land. She also has written mermaid-themed short stories in her other urban fantasy universe (We Both Go Down Together and "Daughter of the Midway, the Mermaid, and the Open, Lonely Sea" which seems like it should be in the same universe but I can't confirm that).
