Body cams aren't a solution. But in a number of cities that have used them extensively, the number of reports of police brutality have gone way down. They help, but not always, and not all the way. They're probably a good idea anyhow, from an evidence collection point of view and such. But we need some serious fundamental reworking on the system to actually fix the problem.

Chuck E. Cheese is possibly the most violent restaurant chain in the US (http://www.wsj.com/articles/SB122878081364889613). Cops in many cities say they get more calls for fights there than at biker bars.

I was always annoyed in school that there was all this cool stuff up on the walls and around in the classrooms, and we never got time to check it out.
