I still can't get over what a cool name Annie Jump Cannon is. Though it might cause problems in the distant future if there's ever an exploration spacecraft named after her. "This is the USS Jump Cannon." "...Do you come in peace?"
I, in Texas, was taught handwriting- both plain and cursive- in grade school, but I think it was phased out when I was a teenager.
