Dad neither knows nor cares about such nonsense as "other captains"! The only reason he knows Picard at all is because I get all happy when Patrick Stewart shows up anywhere.
I figured he meant Chris Pine because he's seen the New Trek, but mostly what it does is make him reminisce about how he used to watch the original stuff with his Mom when he was a kid.
