She's considering A Wrinkle In Time. I was never as into it--I think it was too surreal for me--but it is the right age.
I've got to read Little Fuzzy! I've read Scalzi's reimagining of it (as always, wonderful stuff) and really want to check out the original. Thanks for the Gutenberg heads-up!
