MOM: A PROTRACTOR?! What the hell is a protractor?
ME: You know, for measuring angles?
MOM: ...
ME: It's the D-shaped ruler?
MOM: ...
MY SISTER: You know, Mom. The turtle stencil.
MOM: OH, the TURTLE STENCIL! Well, why didn't you say so? So it's called a "protractor," eh?
ME: You thought it was just for drawing turtles?
MY SISTER: Hey, we're English majors. To us, it's a turtle stencil.
