I love food.

FEASTING!!
- Turkey (16lbs), with a cajun dry-rub and a cajun-jalapeno butter injection (roasted while stuffed with celery, carrots, onions, green pepper and jalapenos)
- Giblet Gravy
- Green Bean Casserole, made with cream of onion instead of cream of mushroom, added green pepper, caramelized onions, bacon and cheddar cheese
- Some sort of dressing, pretty sure it was cornbread? (All I did was chop onions and celery for it. I don't like dressing. So this was Jim's project.)
- Mashed Potatoes, soaked the potatoes overnight, then boiled, then added an entire small carton of heavy whipping cream, a stick of butter, bacon and caramelized onions
- Deviled Eggs, cajun-spiced, with cheese in them
- Black Olives, Dill Pickles
- Brown-N-Serve Rolls (these are a weakness of mine), also leftover egg filling because Jim likes putting it in the rolls
- Wine (and Cream Soda, not pictured)
- Also not pictured: Pecan Pie, Apple Pie, and two Pumpkin Cheesecakes.
- Oh, and on the living room table as "appetizers" was a peanut trio and thin ribbon candy

We like to cook in our house. We like to cook, a lot. This was, um, all originally for just me and Jim ^____^;; (Luckily, Jim's sister Tiffy's plans fell through and joined us... saving us from ourselves.)
