The Desert Mermaid

Both were inside cats--the only thing that worked was to close both the sewing room door and the doors to the living room and office (it's a ranch-style house, so it goes around in a circle) so there were two doors in between me and them. That way I couldn't hear them crying and scratching at the door quite so much.
