The riffs to me mostly seemed lackluster, but yeah, there were a few points of "NO, YOU FOOLS, WATCH THE SHOW!" Granted, I was yelling that at the moviemakers even harder, so.
I really have no help for you with the Ice Cream Bunny. Words do not do it justice. (Although I keep telling my sister "It's a FRAME STORY! A FRAME STORY!" because I remember when our English teachers struggled so hard to explain frame stories to us, and Santa sitting down to tell the kids a story about a drive-thru speaker relating Thumbelina's story as told to her by the bird who heard it from Thumbelina herself only made me think "They want a frame story? I'll GIVE them a god damn frame story!")
