Suddenly I want a deck so I can have things like this. I used to keep pots of herbs on my windowsill, but they died whenever I left them for more than a week. (I don't think a self-watering container could both fit on my windowsill and keep the plant happy for three weeks, and finding folks to water my plants has been hard.)
