Jesus, you are seriously lucky to be alive X_x Oh, completely on the PTSD. And the weird thing about the accident that killed my father was the passenger. He only had a large gash on his forehead and a few bruises. Nothing serious.
The worst major accident I've been in was my motorcycle accident. I was too light for the bike, and was going too fast. It flipped, and I was trapped underneath it as I skidded about 200 feet. Tore up one side of my arm pretty good and I have an impressive scar on my foot. The pleather boot I was wearing BURNED into my foot and took off most of the layers. Had I not had my helmet on, my face would have looked like my arm did. I got insanely lucky.
PTSD from accidents is a really weird thing, I've found. If a car moves too fast, I freak out. If I'm on a bicycle and the thing starts wobbling? I have to get off and calm myself down.
