Oh man, after dealing with like... 5 Christmas songs playing on an endless loop at Kmart last year, I'm not really looking forward to whenever it is that they change the playlist over.
On the other hand, if all goes well, I may actually spend Christmas in England this year with the boyfriend's family. I'm not sure what they do for Christmas, but I know that my family hasn't done Christmas in like ten years or better. Whenever I visit someone who decorates the house, I always seem to find myself sitting alone in front of the tree and feeling a strange emptiness and longing. Even though it marks the end of another year doing seemingly NOTHING with my life, I really do miss the holidays and the good feelings that come from sharing it.
PS: The Yule Season officially starts for me after all our November birthdays are over. So that's mine on the 10th, my grandma's on the 12th, one of my closer friend's on the 15th (erm... or the 17th, I've kinda forgotten), and my sister's on the 23rd. I know there are others, but JEEZ, too many for me.
