Huh. Never tried to cut mine all off -- mainly because really short hair takes more haircuts to keep it looking presentable. Bobs are a bit more flexible if you forget to head in to get a trim.
But, if I had my dad's really curly hair, I might consider it. I like my hair short enough that running a brush through it doesn't make me cry, which was my original reason for cutting it when I was seven. (I had a sensitive scalp, and combing long hair was murder.)
