I highly second that recommendation! Also, have you read her recent YA trilogy? Much lighter than her earlier work, which does have that "too serious" tone to it at times. To be honest, I'm not sure I've even read "Left Hand of Darkness"... or is it "Dispossessed" that I never got around to? I can't remember. Loved "Lathe of Heaven," though.
