In Which I Talk About Myself

Filler! A meme from
otahyoni from, like, forever ago, because I feel like coming up with weird questions:
1. Leave me a comment saying, "Interview me."
2. I will respond by asking you 5 questions.
3. Update your LJ with the answers to the questions.
4. Include this offer to interview someone else in the post.
5. When others comment, asking to be interviewed, ask them 5 questions.
1. How do you spend an average evening?
It’s quite boring, actually. I read, write stories, do some WiiFit, maybe play some less constructive video games. I always have tea. The family likes to have dinner together (which is not as "A Date With Your Family" as it sounds, honest. We talk about unpleasant topics! Like Adventures In Neurosurgery!) We do always watch The Daily Show together before bed.
2. Two characters from Star Wars and LOTR meet. Who are they, and what happens?
Admiral Ackbar would team up with King Théoden and they’d win the hell out of some war against Mordor while Frodo was still lazing about in Cirith Ungol. Then the populace would ask them to be joint kings of the world but they’d be like “We got stuff to do!” and would hop in the CARDIS with Doctor!Donna and Robin Hood and Ripley and Batman and Polgara the Sorceress and Midna and Barack Obama and Susan Pevensie and they’d fly off and extinctify the Daleks, and with these guys they’d stay extinct.
Meanwhile Saruman and Darth Vader would spend a drunken evening in the Mos Eisley Cantina having a Scary Voice-off, which would be won when Don LaFontaine came back from the dead.
3. The Doctor loans you the TARDIS. What do you do with it?
Go find the CARDIS and have tea with the above dudes.
Real answer: I would totally go watch Mark Twain’s standup. Because Mark Twain actually did standup. That would be so brilliant.
I wouldn’t go find Shakespeare, though, because I hear the queues of time-travelers waiting to meet him rival those at Disneyworld on the 4th of July.
4. Classic literature crush?
Eugene Wrayburn from Our Mutual Friend. Dude’s a cynical obsessive wastrel with a great mustache. I would so take him if he weren’t already involved withMortimer Lightwood Lizzie Hexam.
5. What fairy tale would you most like to be in?
Urg, none of them, really. Violent world, that of fairy tales. I have mentioned, though, that I’d love to live in Dinotopia.
Tomorrow I’ll work on getting up a Kenya Dig It post—on Obama! Stay tuned!
