POSITIVE EXPERIENCE!
Jun. 12th, 2015 11:37 pmGood news, everyone! Yesterday Fern and the Itty Bitty Kitty Committee were in close physical proximity without any barriers for the first time,* and nobody attacked anybody!
Sure, there was plenty of growling and hissing and fluffing, and some great crabwalking sidesteppery, but I figure that anything that isn't attempted murder is a rousing success.
It might have helped that I was constantly stuffing treats into everyone in an attempt to convince them that THIS IS A POSITIVE EXPERIENCE DAMMIT. But hey, I take what I can get!
*Sliding screen doors have been the way to go up till now.
