Everything Is Broken
Aug. 6th, 2009 06:55 pmMan, seems like everything’s on the fritz today—iPatch, LiveJournal (and some sites I don't care about), energy levels, my muscles, cat …* Even the weather is broken. There should not be such a thing as a partly muddy sky.
I was all bummed out yesterday for any number of reasons having to do partly with low sleep and blood sugar and partly with my brother going back to Colorado, so I pretty much dissolved into an emo bout of Squeezy-Cheez consumption and watched TNG for a few hours. Sometimes you need a day to feel sorry for yourself.
Today, though, I already made a great headband for Laurel, which suggests I’m feeling better. Now I just need to make a dress to go with it.** But that may wait till tomorrow, because even though I’m not emo anymore, I’m still worn out from a hectic five or so days. Tonight I might just read or something.
Plus, if this weather turns out to be a harbinger of the apocalypse, I’ll need all my strength.
*Although it was kind of fun breaking the internet a little bit. I should do that more often.
**Actually, it’d probably look better on her Stardust counterpart, Alissa. I may have to dig her out of storage …
