Today I went to visit my dentist, the almighty Stormin’ Norman the Mormon, and he informed me that, as I suspected, I have been grinding my teeth at night and have cracked one of my fillings.  So I get a crown on Monday.

 

And as I was sitting there squinting at my book through my old glasses, which shrink my eyes to pinpoints when I wear them and yet aren’t strong enough to keep me from getting a headache, it occurred to me that I have terrible eyes and terrible teeth.

 

I am a Wild Thing.

 

And when you realize that, there’s only one thing you can say:

 

Let the Wild Rumpus begin!
