I left the Fortress of Terror this morning with an empty bag.* At the end of the day, the bag was full.

 

The stuff in it tells the story:

 

• Liquid Plumr
• Fukitol
• Emptied travel mug
• Candle shaped like a stack of stars from the street fair
• Yesterday’s newspaper, since I missed it and the bastards didn’t print the crossword in today’s
• Bag of clay from my big wodge at the Craft Center
• Average-graded linguistics homework
• The umbrella I’d been carrying around all day

I’d say consider this day seized.
