-To my brother for calling me and talking to me even though I didn’t have much to say, because I love talking with him.

-To the pharmacy ladies for their lightning-quick filling of a prescription I picked up in the ample time I had between class and work. Even the mean pharmacy lady, who actually isn’t so bad.

-To the coworker who found the new earring I had dropped somewhere at work while she was on break and hurried back to the floor to give it to me right away to make me happy.

-To the girl I rang up with the X-Men T-shirt, who commiserated with me about the awesomeness of fuzzy blue people.

-To my new friend Elena, who struck up a conversation with me before anthropology and who has invited me to dinner with her family so they can make me some Kenyan food and I can practice Swahili with her husband.

 

This day was hectic, but good. Thanks, all!
