You don’t really want to hear about my Thanksgiving dinner, do you?
Thought not.
Liz’s family has a lovely little beach house up in Long Beach, Washington—where Lewis and Clark apparently got the westest they ever went—and, more importantly for tourists these days, near the fabulous Marsh’s Free Museum, which is a giant randomized gift shop with some sort of P.T. Barnum-worthy carcass in the back called Jake the Alligator Man. I was more pleased with the ocean, I did have a moment of TOTAL INSPIRATION in another gift shop—I now have a great idea for a doll dress.
And now I want to live on the coast.
The other highlight of the weekend was a lineup of Liz’s home videos. I have now looked backward through time to behold my roommate at the age of four, in a bright pink ballerina fairy sparkleprincess tutu, tap dancing. I love technology.
There. That didn’t hurt too much, did it?
