Scene: The Fortress of Terror. Liz and Amelia are sitting at their respective computers. Amelia suddenly recalls something.

 

Amelia: I had an extremely hot dream about Penn Jillette last night.

 

(Pause. While this is, technically, a possible sentence, it is an improbable one, made more so by the sentence immediately following it.)

 

Amelia: He was trying to break somebody’s arm with his bare hands.

 

(Another short pause as details become clearer in Amelia’s mind)

 

Amelia: You see—

 

Liz: Leave it at that! I like it the way it is right now!

 

 

… Yeah, so, my subconscious doesn’t always manage to pair the correct mood with the dream content.  Usually this means innocuous things take on the cast of DOOM, but sometimes you get stuff like this.
