So I’ve been reading some of James White’s Sector General books, as recommended by ![[profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
chibicharibdys. The recommendation was in response to my mention of a series of stories I’m writing on Doctors in SPACE!, which was actually inspired by reading a wonderful book on medical miscommunications called The Spirit Catches You And You Fall Down. It was supposed to be short tales of doctors having difficulty communicating and working with with aliens of radically different cultures. And then she suggested Sector General, and I read it, and I came to a horrible conclusion.
