jadewing had this in hers.  It is so her fault.  I don't have many friends, but a few people can be aimlessly creative if they want.  (Note to friends without LJs: you can still comment anonymously, if you'd like!)  Anyway, here it is:

The Horror!

I had my first-ever Teeth Falling Out Dream last night!  Actually, my teeth didn't fall out, but one sort of dissolved, leaving me with a big gap and a lot of ground-up rotten tooth dust in my mouth.  Granted, this was in the midst of some sort of Victorian mansion whodunnit mystery that involved me being really contrary to Mom and my cousins going off hitchhiking to New Orleans and somebody selling cheese and a house full of strange secret passages and something about Evil Grandmas, but this is pretty much run-of-the-mill for me.  It was the dissolving teeth that got me.

I need to take a shower before my bookstore interview.  ¡Suerte a mi!

In other news, my interview at the bookstore either went well, or terribly.  I was confident, candid, and friendly.  It’s the candid part I’m worried about.  But I did explain the Chapstick Incident, which was good, so now my record is clean for that.  And then Josh came along at coffee hour and proved its authenticity later by sneaking the book I’d lent him* into my bag without my ever noticing till he pointed it out.  Some obsessive-compulsive I turned out to be.

 

Off to dinner with Josh.
