A Great Fall

Oh my GOD that was a spectacular trip.  Caught my ankle on the chair leg and fell over two dining room chairs and a table corner.  Dishes rattled.  The cat fled.  The family screamed.  Tea spilled.  A hubcap went rolling away.  I’m pretty sure the shock wave changed weather patterns.  It's a wonder I didn't burst into flames.

 

Also, somehow in the intricate dance of gravity and the human body, I not only bruised both knees; I also managed to whack my boob on something.

 

I’m gonna feel that tomorrow.

I see your fall and raise you mine: stood up from the table, caught my foot in my lanyard hanging from my sweatshirt pocket on the next chair; flew over one chair, pulling the other one on top of me, earned a lovely odd bruise on the center back of my right calf. And then all the vibrations of things falling set off my rickety bookcase which fell within an inch of me. Thank G-d it missed, or I'd not be here to brag. ;)

In my opinion, boob bruises are among the best. I think because of the fun you can have showing it off; the impressed looks you get are worth the pain.
