Apparently the apple juice Liz and I were drinking this morning was pressed and made directly from Eris’s Golden Apples Of Discord™.  Especially Liz. She gets to rewrite the papers she stayed up all last night writing, because today they vanished. This was the culmination of a series of small disasters that all happened today, because of poor planning on the part of the Universe.  She’s got herself some black coffee and a big fluffy blanket and a cake.

 

I’m still plodding through my own Evolutionary Psychology paper (LAST PAPER THIS TERM), and I am punch drunk and awash with tea and stuffed with éclair.  I’m peeing like a racehorse and trying to drown out the nuclear bass notes from somewhere in the building with Zombie Howard the Undead iPod. I’ve got a pile of ten half-century-old penny dreadful science fiction books waiting for me after this. And I decided that somehow I am going to make a Mary Read pirate doll.
