I Love My Job

On a typical Saturday, I leave the library with:

Twelve funny kids’ books
Eleven spec fic authors
Ten music CDs
Nine books for research
Eight intriguing how-tos
Seven random nonfics
Six Eyewitness readers
FIIIIIVE D!V!Ds!
Four paperbacks
Three rereads
Two picture books
AND THE LATEST YOUNG ADULT FANTASY!

[insert "mouhahahaha" here]

I can't get that song stuck in my head because, although I've seen it referenced and parodied plenty of times on the web, I haven't actually heard it.

Consider yourself thwarted. :P

You have the most fantastic library ever. Even the main Chicago library may not yield such riches.

Your library lets you take out 78 items at once? Damn.

Actually, the limit is 100. I'm sure I can find 22 more things that interest me ...

I'm jealous. Ours limits us to 48 books :-(

Noooo, don't you start the Xmas season before Halloween!

It's kind of a curse. I have Unread Library Book Guilt somethin' awful.

*sings* This needs to be Metaquoted, falalalala, lalalala

Also, damn you, it's bad enough the supermarkets are starting to stock season-y items, I thought we had at least a couple months before the music kicked in, too!
